It has been announced that androp would be releasing their first full-length album in 15 months on March 5, 2014. The title for the band’s third album would be “period”.
The album release was announced by the members on stage at ＜COUNTDOWN JAPAN 13/14＞ on December 30, at Makuhari Messe International Exhibition Halls.
“period” will feature 14 songs including the single track “Voice” which was theme song for the TV drama “Woman”, and “Missing” which was the theme song for the movie “Roommate”. The limited first press edition will come with a CD and a DVD wrapped in a special package. The content of the DVD includes the band’s first-ever documentary video and footage from their studio live concert.
A portion of their new song was revealed on their official website on December 31. The song, which is named “Singer”, would be serving as the opening number for the album. The song was revealed as a message from the band, revealing the band’s current state while they record their new album.
