ZIGZO’s Live Concert Series SKY HIGH! Vol. 2 & 3 And Special New Year’s Eve Concert Announced

It has been confirmed that ZIGZO’s battle-of-the-bands, live concert series, ＜SKY HIGH!＞, will be seeing a vol.2 and a vol.3.

ZIGZO has announced recently that a battle-of-the-bands style event will be held featuring a flood of circle on November 4 at Sendai and on November 5 at Morioka under the name “ZIGZO meeting “SKY HIGH! Vol.1”.

Vol.2 of SKY HIGH! would be held at Shinjuku LOFT on November 26 with UNDER GRAPH and In 197666 and Vol.3 would be held at Nagoya Electric Lady Land on December 5 with Flower Companyz. With the featuring of bands at various place stages of their careers ranging from veterans to newcomers, the event will surely showcase the versatility of ZIGZO and their drive to absorb everything.

Furthermore, the band has announced that the special new-year’s-eve concert, ZIGZO THE END OF 2013 ~BPM365~ would be held at Shinjuku LOFT on December 31.

This concert would feature a special set-list designed just for this event, so don’t miss out on the opportunity.

ZIGZO Announces Their Live Show Series

ZIGZO, who held their live concert, “TRUE IMPULSE”, at Akasaka BLITZ on September 8, have revealed information on their next live event.

The event announced this time is called “ZIGZO meeting “SKY HIGH! Vol.1”, a live event series which will begin with the shows held in Sendai, Miyagi prefecture on November 4, and in Morioka, Iwate prefecture on November 5.

The shows will be held as a battle of the bands event featuring Ryosuke Sasaki’s band, a flood of circle. Sasaki is an acquaintance of Tetsu Takano’s, the vocalist of ZIGZO. It will be interesting to see what kind of synergy these two bands can create with both bands having a reputation for putting on exciting shows. 

The live series will be carried out further in the future with more shows coming within the year.

Zigzo : New Mini Album "TRUE IMPULSE"

ZIGZO has announced through their Facebook page a new mini album "TRUE IMPULSE" will be released on 2013.07.17, including six songs for 1,800yen tax included with more information coming soon from Crown Records.

Zigzo is a Japanese supergroup who formed in 1999 and disbanded in 2002, however all members playing with other bands decided to do a gig together planned to be held on November 20, 2011, Sakura's [most recognized as the former drummer of L'Arc~en~Ciel] birthday event concert at Shibuya O-West in Japan. Each member of Zigzo played a set with their own bands and to the suprise of the audience the final set, all members took the stage as Zigzo and announced they would restart activities as "The 2nd Scene Zigzo" at a concert on March 17, 2012 at Akasaka Blitz, [Japan] and also at the show they released an album that was recorded "live" at a rehearsal on June 6, 2011.

Zigzo 's most current release was On October 10, 2012. They released their third studio album titled "The Battle of Love".
