May'n to hold release events for her new single & album

May'n is getting ready to release her new single "Kyou ni Koiiro" and 4th album "NEW WORLD" on January 29th by holding in-store events to commemorate these two releases. 

The release events will be held in 3 locations: Nagoya, Yokohama, and Osaka. Event participation tickets will be distributed to those who reserve both the single and the album at Animate stores. Check out the event details below.

May’n reveals album title and jacket art for 10th Anniversary album

J-Pop singer May’n has revealed the title of her fourth album NEW WORLD, scheduled for release in on January 29, 2014. The album will include new songs in addition to several of May’n's recent anime and game songs from Accel World, Blood Lad, BTOOOM!, Real Onigokko The Origin, and E.X. Troopers.

In celebration of her tenth year as a professional singer, NEW WORLD will be released in 3 separate editions, including music videos and a live concert recording. On the same day, May’n will release her new single “Kyou ni Koiiro”, the opening theme for the Japanese television anime Inari, Konkon, Koi Iroha.

Known for her work as Sheryl Nome (singing voice) in Macross Frontier and several anime themes such as Accel World, Aria The Scarlet Ammo, and Shangri-La, May’n completed her “May’n Rock Your Beats” world tour in 2012. The first part of her “May’n Road to 10th Anniversary – Japan & World Tour 2014-2015,” scheduled to begin February 23, 2014.

New Single by May'n Will Be Opening Theme for TV Anime “Inari, Konkon, Koi Iroha.”

"Kyou ni Koiiro," the newest single by May'n, will be released on January 29, 2014. It has also been announced that the song will be the opening theme for the television anime "Inari, Konkon, Koi Iroha."

In 2014, May'n will enter the tenth year since her debut. Her first single of this very special year is by May'n and kz (livetune). The song gracefully envelops a faint awakening of love in a first-rate pop sound, guiding listeners toward positive emotions. May'n's singing voice, which is the core of this grace, puts forth a new sort of appeal that has been absent from her songs until now.

May'n will also release her forth album on the same day as the new single, her first album release in about two years. This will be the first CD release of a large number of her singles. The album will have a total of twelve songs, including her smash hit "Chase the world." It will also be released in two limited versions, making this the first time May'n has ever put out three versions of a CD.

In this tenth year since her debut, May'n will be holding her largest and longest tour ever, entitled "JAPAN&WORLD TOUR." 2014 will likely become a brilliant year for May'n as she begins worldwide activities.

May’n to release a new single in July

It was revealed that May’n who just released her 7th single “Run Real Run” on May 8th, is already set to release her 8th single titled “ViViD” on July 24th.

The new song will be the opening theme song for upcoming TV anime “Blood Lad” that will begin airing in July. It was written by Fujibayashi Shoko, composed by Akita Hiroyuki, arranged by CHOKKAKU.

More details on the single will be announced at a later date.

Additionally, May’n will hold a hall tour in Tokyo, Aichi, and Osaka in this fall. The hall tour will kick off at Tokyo International Forum Hall A on October 29th, and go on to Osaka at the Orix Theater, and at Aichi Prefectural Art Theater in Aichi.
