[Album] HaKU - Dye It White [2013.12.11]
HaKUが12月11日（水）にiTunes store限定で配信する新曲“dye it white”のミュージック・ビデオをYouTubeにて公開した。Vo.&Gt.の辻村が「これからのHaKUの原点になる曲」とコメントして いる同曲のミュージック・ビデオでは、渋谷の街全体がCG化され、タイトルの“dye it white”の意味する「白く染めろ」にちなんで、街の色彩がなくなり白く染め上げられていく様子が収められている。

HaKU Paints Shibuya White in Music Video for “dye it white”
HaKU's new song, "dye it white," will be released digitally on iTunes on December 11. The music video for the song is now available on HaKU's official YouTube channel.
HaKU always uses a new point of view for their music videos, utilizing elements such as CG in order to create a certain view of the world. This time, they used CG to create a model of Shibuya, combining actual photography with a sci-fi direction in order to create a futuristic final product.
Because the title is "dye it white," they also removed all the color from the scenery of Shibuya and changed it to white, creating an unrealistic feeling that is characteristic of CG. They also used product placement in their music video, something that is still rare in Japanese music videos.
HaKU will perform at the event "FM802 ROCK FESTIVAL2013 RADIO CRAZY" at Intex Osaka at the end of the year. They will also be performing at various events, so please take the opportunity to experience their music for yourself.

HaKU Ends First Malaysia Concert In Success: 400 Fans Sing Along
HaKU has been receiving increased attention in Malaysia with the release of their first international CD release in “wonderland (international edition)” on June 24th.
Due to the success of his international release, he was invited to AIM Chinese Music Awards, which took place at KLCC Plenary Hall on July 6th, as a special guest. This is an event in which popular Chinese artists of the year are invited to compete for the most successful artist spot of the year; it is similar to the Japanese Record Taisho event. For a Japanese artist to participate in the event as the last closing act is an extremely rare feat. In addition to the many media-related people present that day, HaKU performed in front of 1,500 people and received great praise.
On July 7th, the final stage for HaKU’s “’wonderland’ Reslease Tour 2013” took place at The Venue in Kuala Lumpur in which tickets sold out, attracting more people than the previous year.
With this being the 2nd time to perform in Malaysia, the vocalist, Tsujimura, commented in Enlish, “I’m really happy to be able to come to Malaysia again”. The audience danced wild to such dance rock tunes in “masquerade” and “Kaihogen”.
As the band performed one of their representative songs, “Hirkari”, the entire 400 people there that day san along passionately. The show came to an all-time high as HaKU performed the all-Enlish-lyrics tune, “What’s with him”, featured on their first international debut work, “wonerland (international edition)”.
As the band wrapped up the show, they were met with a 2nd encore call calling out for a 2nd performance of “Hikari”. Tsujimura responded in English, “Thank you for the encore call. Please listen to “Hikari” one more time”, and performed the song for the 2nd time this day. The final stage of the tour came to a close with the fans singing along even more passionately than the 1st time around.
Last year’s Malaysia show was targeted towards J-ROCK fans, but this year, the people who attended the show were not just J-ROCK fans, but authentic “HaKU fans”. HaKU left the stage with the last words, “We’ll come to Malaysia again”, and hinted at the beginning of their official activity in Asia.

HaKU : Additional Show in Malaysia For This Summer’s Tour
HaKU is releasing an EP called “Wonderland” on June 5th and has announced their Tokyo-Nagoya-Osaka tour for this summer. They also added a show to their tour to perform at, the Pavilion LK,Malaysia.
Malaysia has loved J-ROCK and HaKU was invited to perform at the J-ROCK event “J-ROCK no Tamashii 3” and had a successful international performance before their major debut.
The venue was filled with fans and even after HaKU left the stage, the fans made a long line to shake their hand and to get an autograph, and they all expected HaKU to come back soon. To respond to such enthusiasm from fans, HaKU’s solo show has been announced sooner than expected.
HaKU also published their new EP album cover photo that will come out on June 5th.
Jiro Ohara, who designs many genres of art, and the creator group TYMOTE, collaborated on the album cover and the video clip.
The video is linked to the concept of the album cover. It’ll be published in May. So Let’s look forward to that.
