BOOM BOOM SATELLITES to hold one-man tour in March

BOOM BOOM SATELLITES will be holding a one-man tour called 'TOUR 2014 STARTING OVER' in March of 2014. 

This will be the band's first tour after Kawashima Michiyuki's (Vo, G) comeback from brain tumor treatment. They will stop at four locations: Nagoya, Osaka, Tokyo, and Sendai. It will kick off on March 12 at Nagoya CLUB QUATTRO and will wrap up on March 30 at SENDAI CLUB JUNK BOX. Ticket pre-reservations are available via their official website until December 9 at 11:59 pm.

 

BOOM BOOM SATELLITES recently appeared in the live event 'THE ROCK FACTORY' on November 29 at Tokyo SHIBUYA-AX. They excited the audience with a stellar performance.

BOOM BOOM SATELLITES: Nico Live special broadcast

BOOM BOOM SATELLITES will release their May 2013 Budokan concert video on November 6. On October 23 at 10:00 pm, this Budokan concert will be shown on NicoNico live broadcast. 

The broadcast will contain footage from the group’s “EXPERIENCED?-EMBRACE TOUR 2013 Nippon Budokan.” Fans will be able to relive the energy of the May 2013 concert.

“METAMORPHOSE 08 Live Cuts,” the concert video of the currently unavailable July 22, 2009 release “METAMPHOSE,” will be shown in its entirety before the broadcast of the Budokan concert. 

BOOM BOOM SATELLITES released an album in January called “EMBRACE,” containing audio stems for remix purposes. NicoNico collaborated with the group and put on a remix contest for which the results will be announced.

Fans were encouraged to remix BOOM BOOM SATELLITES songs in any way they wanted. The winner of the contest will have their song mastered by the group members themselves and released by Sony Music in December.

BOOM BOOM SATELLITES to release new album, “EMBRACE”

Rock band BOOM BOOM SATELLITES has revealed that they will be releasing a new album on January 9th.

The band’s first original album in 2 years and 7 months will be titled “EMBRACE“. It will feature 10 tracks including their single “BROKEN MIRROR” along with “DRIFTER” which was used as the CM song for Sony Ericsson’s ‘Xperia acro IS11S‘.

To coincide the new album release, BOOM BOOM SATELLITES have revealed a new artist photo. This was taken by Ninagawa Mika, and it shows a new, fresh side of the band.

Furthermore, BOOM BOOM SATELLITES will hold an one-man tour called “‘EMBRACE’ The 15th Pre Release QUATTRO Premium Party” in December. They will also embark on a nationwide live house tour starting in January.

BOOM BOOM SATELLITES reveals new release date + jacket cover for remix album

BOOM BOOM SATELLITES has revealed the new release date and jacket cover for their upcoming remix album, “REMIXED“!

The band postponed the release of this album due to changes with the artwork. It’s now scheduled to be released on November 7. The album will feature remixes of their previously released songs as well as “BROKEN MIRROR (Calla Soiled remix)“, which was the winning track in their remix contest.

Those who purchase the album will have the opportunity to pre-reserve tickets for BOOM BOOM SATELLITES’ nationwide tour that will be held next year. The tour schedule will be revealed later.

BOOM BOOM SATELLITES reveal details on remix album

 Rock band BOOM BOOM SATELLITES has revealed the details on their first remix album, “REMIXED“!

The album will feature remixes from BOOM BOOM SATELLITE’s entire career, from their debut single, “JOYRIDE“, to their latest, “BROKEN MIRROR“. Artists such as Nakako (iLL, LAMA), DJ KRUSH, DJ TASAKA, HOWIE B, and ryo (supercell) will be participating in the album.

This album will also include the winning track from BOOM BOOM SATELLITES’ remix contest for “BROKEN MIRROR”, which was held as a collaborative project with Nico Nico Douga. The winner will be announced on August 17th during the band’s live broadcast on Nico Nico Namahousou.

BOOM BOOM SATELLITES Reveal Details On First Remix Album!

BOOM BOOM SATELLITES OFFICIAL SITE

On September 19th, BOOM BOOM SATELLITES will be releasing their first remix album in commemoration of having celebrated their 15th anniversary. The title is kept simple as "REMIX" and the cover artwork has been revealed today on August 10th along with the tracks to be included.

The disc will be a compilation including tracks from their debut single to their most recent releases and will feature the best of BOOM BOOM SATELLITES. It will also come with the track "KICK IT OUT feat. FLO RIDA, Tahj Mowry", which had only been released for download in the US and which will be a new experience for fans in Japan.

Also, with regard to the new release, the band will be holding a special NicoNico Nama program on August 17th at 21:00 Japanese Standard Time! Don't miss it!
