SPYAIR, with their idols, the world famous rock band Metallica, as well as the The Muse, captivated 10,000 fans with their passionate performance at the largest summer festival of the year in Korea, the Hyundai Card Super Concert “City Break”.
SPYAIR began performing in Korea in 2011, a year after their debut. In the following year, they filmed a promotional video and held their first concert in the beginning of the year, and after summer festival performances and and an album release, they performed on TV and held a one group concert at the end of the year. They have already hit number 1 on the Pop top charts (foreign groups) in Korea three times in a row with their releases this month. They boast the popularity of performing for the 2Days show at the largest live house in the rock mecca of Korea, Honde.
After becoming established as a one group act in September, they have been signed for 2Days again this year. It looks like they are going to gain popularity in Korea at an even faster pace.
SPYAIR has already stream released their new album in North and South America. They will perform at an event in Paris in September, having decided to release to 50 countries throughout Europe, and are headed for rapid success as the first “Japanese rock band that can hold their own on the world stage” in a long time.
