Kis-My-Ft2のシングル。2014年3月公開の映画『ドラえもん 新・のび太の大魔境~ペコと5人の探検隊~』主題歌のタイトル曲は、映画の世界観に合わせて、「仲間との友情の大切さ」「仲間と一緒に前に進んでいこうと いう気持ち」などをテーマに制作。ワクワク感を表現したアップテンポなメロディーの、キスマイらしい前向きで元気をもらえる楽曲。

Kis-My-Ft2 to release single collection album

It's been revealed that Kis-My-Ft2 will release a single collection album tentatively titled "HIT! HIT! HIT! ~Kis-My・Selection 2014~" on March 26.

The CD will include all singles from their debut song "Everybody Go" (released August 2011) to their latest "SNOW DOME no Yakusoku / Luv Sick" (November 2013). 

The album will be released in 3 different types: Limited Edition (CD+2DVD+Photobook), Regular Edition CD+DVD, and Regular Edition CD-Only. As the bonus track, the regular editions will come with their popular track "Kis-My-Calling". The DVD will contain 14 PVs, as well as a live footage digest. 

Furthermore, Kis-My-Ft2 will release their 10th single "Hikari no Signal" on March 5th. This will not be included in their single collection album.

Kis-My-Ft2's new single to be released in March

It was announced that the release date for Kis-My-Ft2's 10th single "Hikari no Signal" will be released on March 5. 

As we reported previously, the title track has been chosen as the theme song to the movie "Doraemon New Nobita's Great Demon Haunt ~Peko the Adventure Squad of Five~" set to premiere on March 8. 

Kis-My-Ft2 member Tamamori Yuta commented that, "Doraemon is a popular anime that has been around since way before we were born and I personally love it, so I am really honored." He also said of the new single, "It is a fast-beat song about "being optimistic and moving forward. I hope everyone from children to adults can enjoy it!"

The single will be released in a first press limited edition A (Kis-My-Ft2 edition), limited edition B (Doraemon collaboration edition) as well as a regular edition. The Doraemon edition will feature illustrations of Kisumai members. The DVD that come with the limited edition B will include the Doraemon version of the music video for "Hikari no Signal".

Kis-My-Ft2 Announces New Live DVD + New Single

Kis-My-Ft2's new live DVD "SNOW DOME no Yakusoku IN TOKYO DOME 2013.11.16" will be released on January 29th. 

 

The DVD will highlight the Tokyo Dome concert from their dome tour 'Kis-My-Ft2 SNOW DOME no Yakusoku' which was held on November 16th. The live kicked off with their single "SNOW DOME no Yakusoku", continued by an elaborately designed stage and even performances by their new unit Busaiku comprised of members Yokoo Wataru, Miyata Toshiya, Nikaido Takashi, and Senga Kento. 

There will be a total of 30 songs over a span of 130 minutes. The limited edition will come with a bonus DVD and live photo book containing live footage and off-shot from 'Good Live Tour Ikuze!' held in July at Yokohama Arena. 

Kis-My-Ft2 will also release a new single (currently untitled) in spring 2014. One of the tracks off the single called "Hikari no Signal" was written by Tokyo Karakoron's Sensei (Vo, Key), and it will be used as the theme song for the upcoming film 'Doraemon The Movie: Shin Nobita no Dai Makyou ~Peko to 5-nin no Taikentai~' due out on March 8th. More details on the single will be revealed at a later date so stay tuned!

Kis-My-Ft2 Forms New Subunit Busaiku

Four members of Kis-My-Ft2, Kento Senga, Takashi Nikaido, Toshiya Miyata and Wataru Yokoo will form the group's first subunit, have formed a subunit named Busaiku.

The subunit will be releasing its debut single "Tana Kara Botamochi" on December 13th. The song will be performed for the first time on December 11th on TBS' music program "Sound Room".

 

The subunit was announced on November 10th during "Kisumai BUSAIKU!?", the group's late-night show.

 

SMAP member Masahiro Makai provided the debut single to the group and will be in charge of the choreography as well. The artist has worked on music production in the past for his group, but this will mark his first time providing a song for another artist.

Kis-My-Ft2 tops Oricon’s Singles, Album, and DVD chart

Kis-My-Ft2 three simultaneous releases dominated the Oricon Weekly Charts.

Their ‘ 7th single “Ki•Su•U•Ma•I ~KISS YOUR MIND~ /S.O.S (Smile On Smile)“, new album “Good Ikuze!“, and new DVD “YOSHIO -NEW MEMBER-” were all released simultaneously on March and topped Oricon’s weekly single ranking for single, album, DVD ranking (overall). The sales for the first week were 214,000 copies (single), 222,000 copies (album), and 126,000 copies (DVD) respectively.

It’s been the first time in 7 years for one artist to have first place on the single, album, and DVD weekly charts simultaneously. In Oricon’s history, they’re only the 3rd artist to accomplish it after Hamasaki Ayumi (in October 2000), and KAT-TUN (in April 2006).

“Ki•Su•U•Ma•I ~KISS YOUR MIND~ /S.O.S (Smile On Smile)“ is the 7th consecutive single for the group to top the single ranking since their debut single “Everybody Go” (released in August 2011), and “Good Ikuze!” is 2nd consecutive album since their 1st album “Kis-My-1st” (released in May 2012). Also, “YOSHIO -NEW MEMBER-” is the 2nd consecutive (and 3rd in total), DVD to top the DVD overall ranking.

Member Kitayama Hiromitsu commented, “I felt the great joy of being able to top the charts with the works that we sincerely worked on, and it also made me realize once again that Kisumai could exist because of the fans.”

Fellow member Fujigaya Taisuke also left a comment, “I feel that we are making great history together with our fans. I strongly wish that we will be able to spend unforgettable times more with them by challenging to make many other histories together, and meeting through live concerts.”
