DOPPEL’s Vocal Takes a Break from Band Activities
Visual Kei Band DOPPEL announced that vocal Mitsu has to take a break from band activities. The reason is acute hearing loss that makes it impossible for Mitsu to perform.
But DOPPEL decided to not cancel their schedule. As long as Mitsu is not able to participate guitarist Yuina will appear at live performances, in-store events and other events like broadcasts alone. The band and staff is really sorry for the trouble and stated to keep their fans updated.
Let's hope the best for Mitsu!
By the way, tomorrow, on June 5th, DOPPEL will release their first mini-album “eggknock”.

DOPPEL Reveals More Details on Upcoming Single and Mini-Album
Last month Visual Kei duo DOPPEL announced the release of two new singles and one mini-album. More details are available now!
You can buy the band’s single “eggknock” that was released on April 4th via itunes and amazon for 250 Yen.
On May 5th DOPPEL will release another single that is titled “Anemθne“. Vocal Mitsu said that he won’t only sing but also play the bass for this song. The god and death stars member aie and cali≠gari’s member takei makoto who already acted as recording members for DOPPEL’s single “eggknock” announced to continue playing the guitar and the drums for the duo’s upcoming releases in May and June. Mix Speaker’s, Inc.’s member seek will play the bass for the songs that are included in their first mini-album. It is scheduled to be released on June 5th and comes in two editions. DOPPEL Announces First Releases
Dolly’s vocal Mitsu und the band’s former guitarist yuina announced the release of their first single as part of a new project named “DOPPEL”.
“DOPPEL” was formed on February 2nd – one month after Dolly went on hiatus. They’ve already announced two new singles. One will be released on April 4th and the other one on May 5th. There aren’t any details on the May-single available yet but a few on the upcoming single. The single released on April 4th is titled “eggknock”. Guitarist aie who’s playing for the god and death stars and drummer takei makoto from cali≠gari will act as their guest recording members.
And DOPPEL made another announcement. Their first mini-album will follow soon! It will be released on June 5th and comes in two editions: The limited edition costs 2800 Yen, the regular edition 2300 Yen.
