RADWIMPS LIVE TOUR 2014 in Singapore


Fans of RADWIMPS in Singapore are excited right now as it is announced that the band will be coming to Singapore this year. Their visit to Singapore is a part of RADWIMPS GRAND PRIX 2014 tour and will be held on June 7th at TAB Singapore.
RADWIMPS GRAND PRIX 2014 will be bringing the band to 33 venues to perform 44 shows in total, including in South Korea, Taiwan, and Hong Kong.

Although the details have been announced, the tickets are available for purchase starting March 1st on MiTicket+ so mark your calendar!

RADWIMPS Special on SPACE SHOWER TV


On December 21, SPACE SHOWER TV will be airing a feature on RADWIMPS, entitled "V.I.P.-RADWIMPS-."

The program will feature interviews with the members from when they were working on their new album. It will also feature a portion entitled "An Open Letter to RADWIMPS," which includes comments from prominent individuals in various fields such as Junji Ishiwatari, Seikou Ito, Shinobu Ohtake, and the members of ONE OK ROCK. While watching the video letters in which people talk about things like how they first encountered RADWIMPS' music and their impressions of the new album, viewers can see the members of RADWIMPS frankly share their thoughts and sincerely answer questions.

RADWIMPS will also appear on SPACE SHOWER TV's regular program, "Ongaku Himitsu Jouhou Kikan MI6." On this program, VJ Kouichi Tsutaya will conduct a striking interview about the new album.

Details on RADWIMPS' new album unveiled

The details on RADWIMPS new album, scheduled to be released on December 11th, has been unveiled. 

The band's first album release in about 2 years and 9 months will be titled "Batsu to Maru to Tsumi to". It will include a total of 15 tracks such as their previously released singles "Dreamer's High", "Go-gatsu no Hae", and "Last Virgin". 
 
The limited edition will be a digipak specification with an art booklet by Nagato Tetsuya and KYOTARO. Both the limited edition and regular edition will enclose advance reservation ticket information for 'RADWIMPS LIVE TOUR 2014'

RADWIMPS : New Album Release


RADWIMPS new album (title not yet finalized) will be released at 2013/12/11, although details have not yet been announced.

RADWIMPS announce 2014 live tour

RADWIMPS have announced that they will be starting their live tour 'RADWIMPS LIVE TOUR 2014' in February of 2014. 

The tour will kick off on February 5 at Takasaki club FLEEZ. They are scheduled to hold a total of 44 shows at 33 venues, which includes their first overseas live. 

The first press edition of their latest single "Go-gatsu no Hae / Last Virgin" (released October 16) encloses details on advance reservation tickets. Applications will be available via the band's official website starting November 15.

RADWIMPS' song 'Buriki' to be used as ending theme for Shimada Daisuke's movie

RADWIMPS' song "Buriki" has been chosen as the ending theme for Shimada Daisuke's short movie 'Tadaima.'.

'Tadaima.' is a short drama that tells the story of a young woman who returns to her hometown Minamisoma, Fukushima 2 years after the earthquake. Shimada, who has been in charge of many RADWIMPS' PVs, wrote the script. The movie will be shown at Theater Image Forum in Tokyo from September 28th to October 4th.

"Buriki" was revealed via RADWIMPS' official YouTube channel on March 11th of this year. Along with the video, a message by Noda Yojiro (Vo, G) regarding the Tohoku Earthquake was posted onto their official website.

Details on RADWIMPS new single revealed

RADWIMPS' new single "Gogatsu no Hae / Last Virgin" will be released on October 16th.

The single will include 3 new songs, "Gogatsu no Hae", "Last Virgin", and "Nipponpon". The band performed "Last Virgin" and "Nipponpon" for the first time on September 15th during their outdoors live 'Ao to Mememe' in Miyagi. "Gogatsu no Hae" will stream here for 24 hours until September 17th at 12:00 am JST. 

"Nipponpon" is Misoshiruzu's first new song in 7 years. They were previously in charge of "Jennifer Yamada-san" which was the coupling track for "Yushinron" released back in 2006. 

RADWIMPS is also in the middle of making a new album and are scheduled to embark on a nationwide tour in 2014.

RADWIMPS announces new single for October

RADWIMPS has announced that their new single (currently untitled) will be released on October 16th.

This will be released about in about 7 months since the band released their last single, "Dreamers High" (March 2013). Their upcoming single will include 3 tracks, and the first press edition will enclose a privilege. 

In addition, RADWIMPS has announced that they will be holding a live concert on September 6th at Yokohama BLITZ. This concert was decided on as the venue will close its doors on October 14th. The band held their last one-man live before their major debut at Yokohama BLITZ, and as such, this concert is said to become a memorial for both the band and the venue. Ticket details are available on Fm yokohama's official website.  

Furthermore, RADWIMPS will hold an outdoors live called 'Ao to Mememe' on September 15th at Kokuei Michinoku Mori no Mizuumihan Koen in Miyagi.
