MIYAVI Releases World Tour Trailer Video
MIYAVI will start his fourth world tour, "SLAP THE WORLD TOUR 2014," on February 22. He recently released a trailer video for the world tour.
The video includes live and backstage footage from around the world, lively and exciting contents characteristic of MIYAVI. MIYAVI will travel to Asia, Europe, North America, and Japan, performing with just his drummer BOBO.
MIYAVI announced two additional shows for his tour, in Los Angeles and Mexico City, bringing the tour to a total of 40 stops in fourteen countries. The Mexico City performance will be held on April 23 and the Los Angeles performance will be held on April 25.
MIYAVI's world debut album "MIYAVI," which has already been released in Japan, will be released in Europe on March 3, and it is scheduled to be released in North America as well.

MIYAVI Reveals Great News on New PV, Photo Book and Movie
Some of you might remember that a few weeks ago MIYAVI started a small twitter-project titled "#UnderTheSameSky". He asked fans to send him tweets including pictures of the sky in their countries and the project was such a huge success that it lead to another idea: He wants to use pictures like that for his new music video!

Photos to be used in MIYAVI’s next music video wanted!
Dear fans,
MIYAVI was discussing with the director of the next music video the other day and came up with the idea of featuring photos taken by his fans (that means you!). This was derived from his twitter experience #UnderTheSameSky, when he posted a picture of the sky in L.A. and his fans followed him, posting the pictures from all over the world.
So now, we are making an official request, to post your photos for MIYAVI’s new music video.
We do not know exactly at the moment how the photos will be featured in the video, but we are aiming to depict the bond between the fans and MIYAVI, and eventually the ties between all human beings.
We cannot tell you which song, but the hint is that it will be a music video for his up coming album “MIYAVI”. So use the below sample photos as a reference and send us YOUR photos!!
We do not want to spoil any of your photos, so please read the instructions and terms/conditions carefully, and send them to us!!
We hope we can share a peaceful experience through this project.

- Size of each image should be 1MByte〜3MByte / jpeg format only. When using your phone, set it to hi-res mode.
- Photos should be taken by the sender.
- Violation of any laws (posting copyright images, etc.) is strictly prohibited. When found, the recipient shall have the right NOT to use the photos.
- Recipient shall have the right to choose the photos to be used in the video.
- Packet communication fees may apply for sending photos
- You cannot retrieve your photos once it’s been sent.
- By sending the photos, the sender grants the rights to the recipient to edit, copy, distribute, broadcast the photos.
- Photos will be used solely for the purpose of making MIYAVI’s music video (scheduled to be released March, 2014).
- Recipient cannot answer any questions regarding the selection of the photos.

Not only will his album "MIYAVI" be released in Europe on March 3rd but he also announced the worldwide release of his first digital photo book! "SLAP SNAP" is the title of this book that has 131 pages and features pictures of his latest tour "SLAP THE BEAT TOUR 2013". If you want this you have to buy it until March 31st because it's available only for a limited period of time. But there is more! Last October we reported on Angelina Jolie's new movie "Unbroken". Miyavi will play the role of Mutsushiro Watanabe, known as “The Bird.”, a brutal WWII POW Camp Guard. Now the first trailer has finally been released!

MIYAVI Reveals Cover Art for International Debut Album
MIYAVI has released the cover art for the international version of his international debut album, "MIYAVI" (which was released in Japan in June 2013).
The international edition features photos taken by photographer Keiichi Nitta. It will be released via Wrasse Records, a partner label of Universal, on March 3 (changed from the previous February 24 release date).
Following the release of the album, MIYAVI will depart for his fourth world tour, his first in three years. The "MIYAVI 'SLAP THE WORLD TOUR 2014'" will begin in Malaysia on February 22 before moving through Asia and into Europe. As part of the world tour, MIYAVI will also be holding his largest ever tour of Japan, visiting a total of twenty-four locations.
MIYAVI will also be appearing in the movie "UNBROKEN," which is directed by Angelina Jolie and slated for a December 2014 release.

MIYAVI Announces World Tour In Asia, Europe And Japan & European Release of “MIYAVI”
MIYAVI has announced the 4th world tour of their career, ＜MIYAVI “SLAP THE WORLD TOUR 2014＞. This would be the band’s first world tour in three years.
The tour will begin in the end of February 2014 in Asia, and by March, MIYAVI is scheduled to tour Europe. At this point, he has announced holding shows in 12 countries in Asia and Europe, but additional shows are scheduled to be announced as they are confirmed.
It has also been announced that the world debut album, “MIYAVI”, would be released prior to the tour in Europe, including England, France and Germany on February 24th, 2014. Details for releases and touring in North and South America will be announced in the near future, so stay tuned.
Just recently, MIYAVI announced that he would be making his Hollywood debut as an actor in the movie, “UNBROKEN” (scheduled to be released in December 2014 in the USA), directed by Angelina Jolie. The movie is being shot in Australia as of now.

MIYAVI announces 'SLAP THE WORLD TOUR 2014'
MIYAVI will be holding his nationwide tour 'SLAP THE WORLD TOUR 2014' starting in April of next year.
MIYAVI is getting ready to embark on a tour across Asia and Europe in February. The nationwide tour will continue after his world tour. It will kick off on April 29 at Nagano CLUB JUNK BOX for a total of 24 shows. Tickets will go on sale starting March 1.

MIYAVI : Asia Album Release & Tour
More news about MIYAVI .
Fans might already know, that Miyavi's current album "MIYAVI" will be released in other Asian countries, including Thailand, Taiwan, Singapore, Malaysia and Hong Kong on October 18th.
The album is also available on iTunes for other Asian countries, as Brunei, Cambodia, Hong Kong, India, Indonesia, Laos, Macau, Malaysia, Philippines, Singapore, Sri Lanka, Taiwan, Thailand and Vietnam!
Furthermore Miyavi's Asian tour has been confirmed for February 2014!
Also, his official facebook page stated to make an announcement on the world tour!
As soon as we get more details, we'll let you know.

MIYAVI starring in movie from Angelina Jolie!
MIYAVI is really busy with working solo recently and as it seems he has decided that being a musician absolutly is not enough for him!
Also it seems like he is on really good terms with Angelina Jolie...
Angelina has just announced that she will be director of a movie titled "Unbroken", which is scheduled to be released in December 2014 and MIYAVI will take part in this movie!
There is no much information about it yet, but fans will be looking forward to that for sure!
This might be his chance to debut as a great actor!

MIYAVI Reveals Details on Self-Titled Album
"Samurai Guitarist" Miyavi will release his self-titled album on June 19th.
In the middle of April Miyavi went on a trip to London to record his new album there. Some of you might even know the producer: Dean Gillard. He worked with musicians like Janet Jackson and Taylor Swift and now also with the Japanese guitarist on his new album that will be released world-wide.
11 songs are included in the album and if you always hoped for studio versions of songs you've seen live there's a good chance for that to come true! Miyavi already played some of the songs included in the album live but never released them on CD.

In September and October Miyavi will go on his “MIYAVI “SLAP THE BEAT” TOUR 2013” holding his tour final at Shibuya-AX on October 14th.
Unfortunately there are no details on his planned 4th world tour available yet.
