MONKEY MAJIK National Tour, More Concerts Added

MONKEY MAJIK announced to add an additional show, on top of the upcoming tour BLUE MOON presents MONKEY MAJIK JAPAN TOUR 2013-2014 DNA from December 23, 2013 through April 17, 2014. 

Hosting the additional concert was decided after the advanced tickets for December 23 at Shibuya Public Hall sold quickly and had far more response than expected. The additional concert will take place on December 24 again at Shibuya Public Hall and this show is supposedly packaged with a sweet surprise because it is on Christmas Eve. 

Their new album “DNA” has been ranked as number 1 on iTunes album ranking as of the release date, October 16th.

Japanese rock band Monkey Majik has just announced the release of their brand new album "DNA" which will drop on October 16th, 2013 and will be available in three types with two of the editions being completely different songs. Furthermore the band has also announced a long awaited "2013-2014 ~ DNA ~ BLUE MOON presents MONKEY MAJIK JAPAN TOUR," which will begin on December 23, with 16 performances scheduled. MONKEY MAJIK releases preview of “A Christmas Song”

MONKEY MAJIK has released a short preview for their upcoming single, “A Christmas Song“!

For their first Christmas song, Monkey Majik collaborated with Oda Kazumasa. The single will also include covers of “LET IT SNOW LET IT SNOW LET IT SNOW“ and “Have Yourself A Merry Little Christmas“.

“A Christmas Song” will drop in stores on December 5th.

MONKEY MAJIK postpones release date for English best-of album and upcoming single

Previously, it was reported that MONKEY MAJIK would simultaneously release an English best-of album and a new single on November 7th. The group recently updated their official website to let their fans know that the release date for both releases has been postponed to December 5th due to a planned collaboration with the artist whom the members respect.

For their English best-of album, “ENGLISH BEST“, MONKEY MAJIK held a poll through Facebook asking fans to vote for their favorite songs. The top songs were interpreted into English and re-recorded. As for their upcoming single, “A Christmas Song“, the band collaborated with Oda Kazumasa. It will also include covers of “LET IT SNOW LET IT SNOW LET IT SNOW” and “Have Yourself A Merry Little Christmas“.
