Ringo Sheena: 15 year anniversary ＜TOTAIKAI＞ complete Live DVD&Blu-ray announced

Ringo Sheena played a 15-year anniversary tour in 2013 called, ＜Ringo Sheena JUGONEN SHUNEN TOTAIKAI HESEI NIJUGONEN KAMIYAMAMACHI TAIKAI＞. The complete recording of the final show of the tour will be released as a DVD&Blu-ray titled “TOTAIKAI HESEI NIJUGONEN KAMIYAMAMACHI TAIKAI” on March 19.

The final concert was held at Bunkamura Orchard Hall, which is a famous venue for ballet and opera. Sheena looked back on her 15-year career and performed her hits with live instrumentation by Neko Saito Quartette. The performance was thrilling and covered all aspects of her musical career.

The limited edition DVD&Blu-ray will come with a hardback book with case and a special CD. This special CD includes excerpts from her 35th birthday celebration. The jazz versions of her songs are notable and are completely different from the feel of the performances on the Live DVD.

椎名林檎(Ringo Sheena) LIVE Blu-ray/DVD "党大会 平成二十五年神山町大会" will be released at 2014/03/19 (2 TYPE each), which will include scene of her live at Bunkamura Orchard Hall at 2013/11/26.

limited edition (Blu-ray 6,615yen / DVD 5,565yen) will include Blu-ray/DVD+LIVE CD (including live songs from her live at Bunkamura Orchard Hall at 2013/11/25), and regular edition (Blu-ray 5,880yen / DVD 4,830yen) will include Blu-ray/DVD only.

Sheena Ringo releases PV for 'IT WAS YOU'

Sheena Ringo has released the PV for her song "IT WAS YOU" through her 15th anniversary official website and YouTube channel. 

"IT WAS YOU" was provided by Burt Bacharach and it will be included in Sheena's collaboration best-of album "Ukina" which will hit stores on November 13th. Since performing this song at 'RISING SUN ROCK FESTIVAL 2008 in EZO', it has been long-awaiting a release. 

Ringo Sheena: 15th anniversary, 1st collaboration with Yasutaka Nakata & FC concert viewing

Ringo Sheena, who is celebrating the 15th anniversary of her debut, will release a collaborative best-of album, called “UKINA,” and a live best-of album, called “MITSUGETSUSHO,” on November 13.

“UKINA” is a collection of Sheena’s past songs that featured guest artists that she compiled herself. In addition, the album will include a new song, “NETSUAI HAKKAKUCHU,” which is her first collaboration with CAPSULE’s Yasutaka Nakata, and “IT WAS YOU,” for which Burt Bacharach provides the music. 

The limited edition first pressing will come in a hardback book with case. It will include unreleased photos and an interview with Sheena about “UKINA.” 

Sheena’s first concert in five years was announced yesterday. Right after the concert, it was announced that there will be exclusive shows on November 28 and 29 for “RINGOHAN” official fan club members. 

The November 29 show will be broadcast live in movie theaters around Japan. Presale and reserve tickets go on sale on October 2 via the SR Nekoyanagi Honsen Pocket mobile site. It is highly recommended to take a trip to the movie theater to witness this premium event. 

Ringo Sheena: 15 year anniversary dual release and 5 days of concerts

Ringo Sheena, who is approaching 15 years as an artist, will simultaneously release two albums.

A collaborative best-of album, “UKINA” and a live best-of album, “MITSUGETSU” will be released on November 13. 

“UKINA” is a collection of collaborations since her 1998 debut until now. “IT WAS YOU,” which was supported by Burt Bacharach, has been re-recorded for the album. 

“MITSUGETSU” is a carefully selected compilation of live takes from her debut until now. Recordings from her 2009 NHK broadcast, “SONGS,” are also included. 

A collection of Ringo Sheena videos will be released on Blu-ray on November 13. The eight-disc Blu-ray box set will include a disc of all the music videos from 

“SEITEKI Healing,” a disc of performances, a disc that of live footage from “DAI IKKAI RINGOHAN TAIKAI NO MOYO,” and a disc of documentary footage from Sheena’s debut concert, “SENKO Ecstasy.” 

A long awaited concert has also been announced. Sheena will perform five concerts at the classical music concert hall, Bunkamura Orchard Hall, in Shibuya.
