Ringo Sheena, who is approaching 15 years as an artist, will simultaneously release two albums.
A collaborative best-of album, “UKINA” and a live best-of album, “MITSUGETSU” will be released on November 13.
“UKINA” is a collection of collaborations since her 1998 debut until now. “IT WAS YOU,” which was supported by Burt Bacharach, has been re-recorded for the album.
“MITSUGETSU” is a carefully selected compilation of live takes from her debut until now. Recordings from her 2009 NHK broadcast, “SONGS,” are also included.
A collection of Ringo Sheena videos will be released on Blu-ray on November 13. The eight-disc Blu-ray box set will include a disc of all the music videos from
“SEITEKI Healing,” a disc of performances, a disc that of live footage from “DAI IKKAI RINGOHAN TAIKAI NO MOYO,” and a disc of documentary footage from Sheena’s debut concert, “SENKO Ecstasy.”
A long awaited concert has also been announced. Sheena will perform five concerts at the classical music concert hall, Bunkamura Orchard Hall, in Shibuya.
