VelBet WILL To Disband

Very sad news from VelBet today, they have decided to disband next year after their oneman live which is being held on March 31st.

The message on their OHP is as follows:

Important message to everyone from velvet 

Thank you very much everyone for your support for VelBet. There is an important message for everyone. VelBet was decided to end all activities after the Shibuya O-WEST oneman performance on March 31, 2014.
And we worked on the difficulties that arose many times from the start, the 6th January 2009, the paths of he members shifted little by little in regards to the development of the band. After continuous discussion it was determined that VelBet could no longer be continued. 

To everyone that has supported, thank you
Velvet will celebrate its fifth anniversary in January 2014 next year and it is because of everyone that Velbet was able to make it that far.
Until March 31, 2014, VelBet will remain the same.
We will continue to devote further.

Visual Kei band Velbet revealed details on their upcoming first full album!

Only a few days ago we reported on the new live DVD Velbet and Lycaon will release in September. Now we have more news from Velbet for you! Back in June they've announced the release of their very first full album titled "Яe:set". It is scheduled to drop on August 14th and the Limited Edition includes 11 songs while the Regular Edition includes 13 songs. The song titles have been revealed now!

VelBet×Lycaon - LIVE DVD "Huma.Dog/AbnormaRythm/LV.III" Release

Visual Kei bands Velbet and Lycaon made a great announcement for fans of both bands! In September they will release a DVD of their two-man performance!

In June those two bands went on live tour together that also included a live at Ikebukuro BLACK HOLE on June 27th. This live is titled "Huma.Dog/AbnormaRythm/LV.III" and is included on the DVD. The release date is set for September 11th and it costs 5800 Yen.

Unfortunately the DVD is only available through the band's official webshop.

Velbet : Release First Full Album

Visual Kei band Velbet announced the release of their very first full album!

The band was already formed in 2008 but had some difficulties to establish due to a lot of member changes. Actually Velbet already did release an album just yesterday but it's a best album you can buy only through their official web shop, so they don't really consider it as real first album. But now they've finally made it!

Their first full album is titled "Яe:set" and will be released on August 14th. It comes as Limited Edition that costs 4000 Yen and includes 11 songs and a special booklet and as Regular Edition that costs 3000 Yen and includes 13 songs.

In March Visual Kei band Velbet already revealed their plans to release a best album.

"BEST TRACKS" will drop on June 5th but only through their webshop. It costs 4000 Yen and you'll receive two CDs that include songs released since 2011.

Furthermore, they've announced the release of their very first album in July. Unfortunately more details aren't available yet.

Velbet also revealed the plans for this summer: In June they'll go on two man tour with Lycaon and in July and August with Aube. And on August 24th they will have a one man live at Shinjuku Blaze.
