UVERworld Releases New Video Clip Collection

UVERworld has announced that they would be releasing their new video clip collection “UVERworld Video Complete –act.2-“ in March.

The new video clip collection would include all music videos released between the 2010 release, “Qualia”, and the newest single “Nano Second”. Enjoy all the masterful visual works released by UVERworld.

The first press edition would include a photo booklet and 14 live-recorded songs from ＜UVERworld ARENA LIVE 2013 winter 12.25 at Nippon Budokan Queen’s PARTY＞, aka girls’ festival, which took place at Nippon Budokan on December 25, 2013. Furthermore, both the first press edition and the standard edition of the Blu-ray release would include “GOLD (3D ver.)”, making this a near-greatest-hits video release.

UVERworld is currently amidst recording their eight album. Prepare yourself for their upcoming new sound by tracing their footsteps with this video release.

UVERworld To Release MV Collection On March 19th

"UVERworld Video Complete -act.2-" will include all the MVs from their 16th single "Kuoria" (September 2010) to their "Nanosecond" (December 2013) and will be released in 3 different editions: DVD Limited Edition, Blu-ray Limited Edition and DVD Regular Edition.

Both the DVD and Blu-ray Limited Editions will come with a DVD featuring 14 songs from the "UVERworld ARENA LIVE 2013 winter 12/25 @Nippon Budokan Queen's PARTY" live held on December 25th at Nippon Budokan as well as a photo booklet. The Blu-ray Edition will also include a 3D version MV for "GOLD".

Video For UVERworld’s ＜Otoko Matsuri＞ To Be Revealed First On Niconico Live

On January 19 (Thur), UVERworld appeared for the first time on Niconico Live in “Uver Ke no TV in Niconico Beya 2014”. More than 130,000 people came to watch, a rare feat for a Niconico broadcast by a band.

The program featured many sections including a section where they showed live video scenes from 2013, a talk section supported by emails sent in from the viewers and a telephone section in which fans called in to have a talk with the members during the broadcast. With more than 200,000 comments received with the broadcast, the program became a big success.

It was also revealed within the show that the video for ＜Otoko Matsuri＞, which took place at Nippon Budokan on December 26 (Thur), 2013, would be broadcasted for the first time on January 31 on Niconico Live. Including all the women who could not attend the event, it would be a must-watch for all UVERworld fans.

UVERworld's “Women's Festival” and “Men's Festival” at Nippon Budokan Both a Success

On December 25 and 26, UVERworld held two days of performances at Nippon Budokan. This was their sixth consecutive year holding a December show at Budokan. The performance on December 25 was limited to female fans only and the performance on December 26 was limited to male fans only. The tickets to both days were sold out, meaning that in total about 24,000 people attended these shows.

 The first day, the "Women's festival," was both Christmas and a female-only show. The band performed a set list filled with rare songs, the type that could only be performed at such a special time. They dazzled the audience with an amazing Christmas at their first female-only show in two and a half years.

They expressed their gratitude toward the female fans during the MC, saying, "Everything coming to an end is scary, but while we're crazily chasing our dreams like this, it stops being frightening. We're really happy to be able to be performing music here. And the fact that we're able to do a men's festival tomorrow is because of our female crew who has been supporting us all this time. Thank you very much."

The second day was their much-desired "Men's Festival" at Nippon Budokan. The performance heated up along with their "discussions between men." Their first men's festival at Nippon Budokan shook the venue, changing the end of the year into everlasting summer with their rougher, stronger than usual set list.

To the men who are always casting off bonds, TAKUYA∞ said, "The worn out words of 'If you wish for it, your dreams will come true,' may have lost their persuasive power. But we (UVERworld) can give those words meaning. Making music that is just fun, or just cool, is something that we can leave to other people. UVERworld has meaning because we're singing it. In the future as well, we'll make songs that will make all of us stronger together as we sing them, and as you listen to them. We want you to look forward to that." He also stealthy exchanged promises with the male fans, saying, "Next time we'll do Yokohama Arena, and someday maybe we'll do a men's festival at Tokyo Dome." UVERworld closed out the performance with the song, "MONDO PIECE," during which the male fans placed their arms around each other's shoulders and sang, the show ending with this memorable scene.

UVERworld to release their 25th single in December

Rock band UVERworld will be releasing their 25th single "Nanosecond" on December 18th. 

While the new song has not yet been completed, UVERworld is already working on their next product. They are also getting ready to kick off their live house tour 'Warm-Up Gig' on December 1st and then head out on an arena tour on the 20th. 

 

The limited edition of their upcoming single will include 'Wizard CLUB~2013 UVERworld collage~', which was screened during their event at Sony Building OPUS earlier this month.

UVERworld releases live performance music video including an unreleased song

UVERworld released a live performance video titled “UVERworld Live at Avaco Studio 2.”

The video includes “Fight For Liberty,” which was released last month, “Wizard CLUB,” and an unreleased song. 

UVERworld is currently on a live house tour where tickets immediately sold out. Group members said, “There are many people who cannot make it to our shows. We’d like for people to feel the passion of concerts through this video.” In the video, the band plays in an empty rehearsal space while dripping with sweat. It is a glimpse into a side of the band that people rarely see. 

The music video is shot in 4K, which is four times the definition of full HD. It took more than twice the time of a normal video to produce. 

UVERworld has “INAZUMA Rock Fest 2013” and “LIVE Music Unlimited 3DAYS” lined up after their live house tour. Check the band’s official website for tour details.

UVERworld : Release New Single "FIGHT FOR LIBERTY / Wizard CLUB" in August

Japanese Rock band UVERworld will release their first single of 2013 on August 14th!

The band's 24th single is titled "FIGHT FOR LIBERTY / Wizard CLUB" and comes in three different versions. The first one is time limited and only available until September 30th. It costs 1300 Yen. The second version is limited as well and costs 1529 Yen. And the last one is the Regular Version that costs 1223 Yen.

UVERworld wraps up their first arena tour

 

 

 

 

 

 

On March 14, rock band UVERworld wrapped up their first arena tour, ‘UVERworld ARENA LIVE 2013‘, at Yokohama Arena with 10,000 fans.

Vocalist TAKUYA∞ called out, “Let’s grab a hold of the best night thoroughly!“, and performed a total of 21 songs mainly centered around their latest album, “THE OVER” (released last November). At the end of the night, he promised a new song and tour saying, “We will make songs that will grab everyone’s hearts. Please look forward to it!”

TAKUYA∞ also thanked the fans with, “Everybody was so cool today. I’m very proud to have such cool fans. Thank you very much!” He continued, “We would like to give everyone one more song,” and closed the tour with “MONDO PIECE“.
