THE NOVEMBERS will play a concert of their past works called “Ceremony” this fall. The band parted with their label, UK PROJECT, on October 1 and started their own label called MERZ. The new NOVEMBERS album, titled “Zeitgeist,” will be MERZ’s first release on November 30.
Aoki Robin of recently revived and influential Japanese alt-rock band, Downy, produced “Zeitgeist”. The album conveys a serious and positive message and is THE NOVEMBERS’ most profound and deep album to date.
THE NOVEMBERS are using less conventional distribution methods for this upcoming release. The album will be available on their upcoming official site, iTunes Store, Bandcamp, and at select record shops only.
THE NOVEMBERS are trying to set an example of how to release music in the current state of the music business in Japan. They want to deliver their music to their domestic and international fans in their own way.
