hide was the guitarist of X JAPAN who has continued to attract numerous fans through both his works with X JAPAN and his solo works. A special program dedicated to him will be broadcasted on SPACE SHOWER TV.
2013 is hide’s 20th anniversary since his solo debut and 2014 would mark his 50th birthday. In celebration, the anniversary project “hide ROCKET DIVE 2013-14” is being held. , which made a comeback this year, was held for a limited time only and attracted approximately 50,000 people.
In commemoration for the release of the live documentary movie, “hide ALIVE THE MOVIE –hide Indian Summer Special Limited Edition-“, which will be released on October 12 at theaters across Japan and in 10 other countries, SPACE SHOWER TV will be broadcasting a special program.
Along with never-seen-before footage of hide’s solo career, scenes from his soon-to-be-released movie and his entire collection of releases, the program will trace the historical path of hide’s career featuring commentaries by the likes of I.N.A, hide’s long-time supporter and producer, PATA from X JAPAN, members from hide with SUPER BAND and other artists who carry the torch of hide’s spirit.
