TK from Ling tosite sigure will be releasing his 1st EP “contrast” on March 5. Two versions of the cover artwork for the EP has been revealed along with its tracklist.
Just as it was with the solo release “film A moment”, all pictures used for “contrast” were taken by TK himself. The three-sided sleeve cover, limited first press edition will come with a special 32-page booklet featuring pictures including those that were taken in Berlin at the time of the recording.
The EP is scheduled to feature five tracks, three of which, including “contrast”, would be new songs and the other two would bonus cover tracks. The two cover takes will be “Namida no Tabiji” by Hatsukoi no Arashi and a live piano version of “illusion is mine” by Ling tosite sigure recorded during the event “December’s Calling” held at Akasaka BLITZ on December 22, 2013 (Sun).
Just like the previous releases, all tracks will be mixed and produced by TK himself. With Ted Jensen (Sterling Sound NY) participating in the mastering for the first time, we cannot wait to hear the sound of the new work.
Tickets for the solo tour held during the time of the EP release, ＜TK Acoustic & Electric TOUR 2014 “Killing you softly”＞, will be available beginning 10AM, January 18 (Sat). Although tickets for special seats have already sold out during the pre-order phase, this would be the last opportunity to get your hands on the regular tickets (reserved seats).
