SuG announced their comeback at the surprise concert that took place in Harajuku in September. The band’s comeback concert, ＜SuG Onemanshow 2013 “update ver.0”＞, would be held at Yoyogi National Stadium Second Gymnasium, on December 29th, exactly a year after they went on break. Tickets were released on November 23rd. With accesses from fans who eagerly awaited the band’s revival storming in, tickets sold out within a minute after release.
Vocalist Takeru has just revealed his newfound musicality through the release of the EP “I Kuru U” under his solo project “Uwakimono” in which he collaborated with numerous artists. The title track, “I Kuru U”, which was released on November 20th, has already been chosen to be inserted as ending theme song for the TV program “music ru TV’s” December broadcasts.
We cannot wait to witness the how Takeru’s experience with “Uwakimono” would contribute to the stage performance at the comeback concert, which will be held exactly a year since the band’s hiatus. The band is also scheduled to release their new single in February 2014, so don’t miss that either.
