It has been announced that Shinji, the guitarist of SID, would be releasing a new signature model guitar from FERNANDES. SID has just celebrated the band’s 10th anniversary since its founding.
The name of the new model is “DECADE-CUSTOM LESHY”. “DECADE” is the name of Shinji’s signature model series and “LESHY” is the name of a type of fairy.
The concept of this guitar is “an almighty guitar that can be used in any situation combined with ease of play”. In short, the guitar was customized to possess the ability to produce a variety of tones along with playability on stage.
A special event commemorating the release of the new signature model will be held in Shibuya and Akihabara. During the campaign period, Shinji’s instruments, costumes that were actually worn on stage, and other accessories would be on exhibit. Furthermore, a talk event would be held in which secrets of guitar manufacturing would be revealed in addition to an easy-to-understand description of the custom guitar given by Shinji himself. “DECADE-CUSTOM LESHY” is a new model that has just been finished; hence, the first opportunity to experience the sound of the new guitar would most likely be at ＜Visual BANG! ~SID 10th Anniversary FINAL PARTY~＞ held at Nippon Budokan on December 27th, 2013.
