geek sleep sheep, made up of vocalist/guitarist kazuhiro momo (MO'SOME TONEBENDER), vocalist/bassist 345 (Ling tosite sigure), and drummer yukihiro (L'Arc~en~Ciel) will release their first album on December 11. They have now released the jacket photos and details about the new album, "nightporter."
"nightporter" contains a total of twelve abundantly expressive tracks, such as geek sleep sheep's major debut single track, "hitsuji," the songs "SANPO" and "GOHAN," which they have already been performing at concerts. It also includes the tracks "frame" and "Last Scene," which are collaborations between yukihiro and 345.
As with the CD jacket for "hitsuji," yukinko was also in charge of this design. With a calm tone that features the image of "night," the artwork expresses yukinko's unique, dreamy worldview and arouses a strong image of the sound of the album.
A listening party for "nightporter" has already been scheduled. The party will be held on November 22 at an undisclosed location in Tokyo and those who are able to participate will be chosen by lottery. Those who wear pajamas to the event will receive a present, a special item that will not be available for purchase. Check the special website for details.
At the listening party for their major debut single, "hitsuji," geek sleep sheep held a secret concert, but this time, there is no concert planned.
