[Champagne]’s 2013 End-of-the-Year Double A-side Single Goes Double Tie-up

During the second half of their currently in-progress nationwide tour, <We Don't Learn Anything Tour 2013-2014>, [Champagne] announced at their 11/14 Zepp Tokyo performance that they would be releasing a new single.

The title for their 12/25-release double A-side single is “Run Away / Oblivion”. The single, which was composed concurrently with the <We Don't Learn Anything Tour 2013-2014> includes a total of four songs, two of which have become tie-ups. The title song “Run Away” is an innovative move for [Champagne]; it’s a feel-good active song with its electro style and high tempo. Recently, the music video for that song was shot in collaboration with the first Japan arrival of “NIKE + FUEL BAND SE”. This music video will be released to the public in the first half of December, so keep an eye out.

The other title song, “Oblivion (feat. LITHIUM HOMME)” was created with the concept of a fusion between mode and rock, and resonates both of the fashion brand “LITHIUM HOMME” and [Champagne]. It will be used as the theme song for LITHIUM HOMM’s 2013 Fall/Winter Collection. The warm sound and refined melody are points worth noting.

The coupling song, “Rise” is a song taken from their previous album, “Me No Do Karate.” During the <We Don't Learn Anything Tour 2013-2014> this song was given the important spot of opening the show. Lastly, “Paint Your Socks Into Pink” is an incredibly bright punk tune which shows off [Champagne]’s nihilistic side.

The limited edition of this 4-song single will include a serial number for the most priority access to purchase tickets for the additionally announced locations of the <We Don't Learn Anything Tour 2013-2014>. With an upcoming performance at the Nippon Budokan on March 28, 2014, [Champagne]’s new sound is definitely worth checking out.
