THE BAWDIES have completed their very successful tour "1-2-3 TOUR 2013", spanning 59 venues in all 47 prefectures of Japan, a five-month endeavor that lasted five months from February to June of this year. Crowning the massive tour, the largest for the band to date which saw 70,000 fans in attendance, was the final show on June 28 at Osaka-jo Hall. The show, put on impressively by the members following their long tour and waited for impatiently by the band's fans, will be released on a 26-song DVD entitled "1-2-3 TOUR FINAL at Osaka-jo Hall".
First press editions will contain a special film combining the first two days of the 59-show tour, a women's-only show "Sweet Black Girl" and the men's-only show "I'm a man" which took place Feb. 2 and 3 at Kyoto takutaku. The film will contain a documentary movie as well as a close-up look at the tense excitement of the small 350 person capacity venue on the days of the show. The special feature will allow fans to enjoy the difference in sound and visuals as a female audience changes places with a male audience throughout the compilation. Also included will be a 106-page photobook, containing live photos and offshots taken during all 59 shows and compiled by the band's manager, Rui Hashimoto. Moreover, the DVD will contain the standard energetic commentary track from the band. All of these items will be packaged in a special bookcase, making for a special document of 2013!
THE BAWDIES will also be performing at the Korean music festival "grand mint festival 2013" in October. It will be the band's first show in Korea, but will the band be able to bring their rock and roll sound to Korean audiences?!
