DIR EN GREY, who has begun the new year strong with their exclusive fan club tour ＜FINEM LAUDA – “a knot” only-＞ held in promotion of the release of their newest single “SUSTAIN THE UNTRUTH” on February 6, has delivered to us more news.
The band has revealed that they would be releasing the new Blu-ray/DVD “TOUR13 GHOUL” on April 23. It will be a documentary video featuring scenes from their latest tour which began with the concert at Yokohama BLITZ, Kanagawa, on September 18, 2013, and consisted of shows held in nine cities within the country and 14 cities in the US. DIR EN GREY released the documentary video work “TOUR12-13 IN SITU-TABULA RASA” in September last year, which was based on DIR EN GREY’s activity between 2012 and the first half of 2013. The new video release would serve as a sequel to that, capturing the band’s activity during the latter half of 2013. Enjoy the dynamic behind-the-scene footages capturing the newest DIR EN GREY.
DIR EN GREY would be flying into Australia after ＜FINEM LAUDA –“a knot” only-＞ to participate in the tour-based festival ＜SOUNDWAVE 2014＞. In addition to the four shows that they are already set to appear in, they will also be appearing at shows at The Metro Theatre in Sydney on February 24 and the show at The Hi-Fi in Melbourne on February 27. They will be costarring with DILLINGER ESCAPE PLAN and GLASSJAW.
With one-man shows already set to take place at Nippon Budokan in Tokyo on March 8 and 9, DIR EN GREY has kicked off the year strong with a set of concerts after another.
