FLOW reveal jacket covers & track list for '26 a Go Go!!!

FLOW has revealed the jacket covers and track list for their new album "26 a Go Go!!!". 

The band's new album will be released on March 26th and it will include a total of 14 songs. The limited edition DVD will contain the PVs for "Ai Ai Ai ni Utarete Bye Bye Bye" and "Tokonatsu Endless", as well as the introduction of all the songs.

FLOW announce new album + nationwide tour

FLOW has announced that they will release their new album '26 a Go Go!!!' on March 26th. They will also hold a nationwide tour called 'FLOW LIVE TOUR 2014 26 a Go Go !!! ~Gekitou Pennant Race~' starting in April.

On New Year's Day, FLOW created the slogan "Heisei 26 (2014) is FLOW's year" and declared that they would be carrying out various things on days related to "26". For their upcoming tour, the group will hold 26 shows in 23 locations. As for the album, more details will be revealed at a later date.

FLOW Announces New Catchphrase On New Year’s Day “Heisei 26 Is the Year Of FLOW”

On New Year’s Day, FLOW revealed their new artist picture and announced their new catchphrase for this year. The catchphrase is “Heisei 26 is the year of FLOW”.

The catchphrase came about from the play on the word “26” (in Japanese “2” can be read as “fu” and “6” can be read as “ro”: “26” = “furo” = “FLOW”). Along with the year Heisei 26 (2014) being the year of FLOW, they intend to make all 26th days of the months be tied to FLOW.

In that spirit, they will be releasing their new single, “Ai Ai Ai Ni Utarete Bye Bye Bye”, on February 26. If you are a FLOW fan, be sure to make note of all days that include the number “26”.

FLOW's new song chosen as the opening theme song for 'Samurai Flamenco' anime

Rock band FLOW's new song "Ai Ai Ai ni Utarete Bye Bye Bye" has been chosen as the new opening theme for the ongoing anime series "Samurai Flamenco" that airs on Fuji TV's noitaminA.

"Samurai Flamenco" revolves around a man named "Hazama Masayoshi" who becomes a superhero on his own without any technology or superpower. It depicts the difficulty and meaning of "acting as a superhero" in this world comically and sometimes seriously.

The new opening song is produced by agehasprings' Tamai Kenji, and it is said to be a "rooters' song" for adult men.

"Ai Ai Ai ni Utarete Bye Bye Bye" is set for release on February 26.

FLOW LIVE TOUR 2013 " tour THE MAX!!! " -Grand Final -at Maihama Amphitheatre" DVD Release

Rounding out FLOW's 10th anniversary year of " FLOW THE MAX!!!!" the band has announced the release of a live DVD with songs recorded from the tour Grand Final performance made ​​in Maihama Amphitheatre on September 7, 2013 titled,

" FLOW LIVE TOUR 2013 " tour THE MAX!!! " -Grand Final-at Maihama Amphitheatre " which will be released on 2013.12.18 for a cost of 4,800yen (tax in).

Performances from 47 prefectures encompass this release with familiar tunes including the latest single "Tokonatsu Endless" and the latest album "FLOW THE MAX!!!!". The highlights of the DVD will be the shaking venue with audience participation and it promises sweat and excitment as FLOW connects with their audience.

FLOW, Perform at Taiwan’s Largest Rock Fest. “TWINKLE ROCK FESTIVAL” Along with Aerosmith and MAN WITH A MISSION

Flow was chosen to perform on main stage of Taiwan`s largest rock fest, which will be held at Taiwan`s Kaohsiung National Stadium on August 24th.

Kaohsiung National Stadium is a open sports stadium holding international games. FLOW has been attending many fests abroad in recent years, but it will be their first one in Taiwan. There, they will be performing along with the famous men of rock, Aerosmith and MAN WITH A MISSION.

FLOW : Release a New Single In September

It's been revealed that FLOW will be releasing a new single (currently untitled) on September 4. 

This announcement was made on July 2 during the Tokyo concert of FLOW's nationwide tour, "FLOW LIVE TOUR 2013 'Tour THE MAX!!! ~LAST MAX!!!~'", at Liquidroom Ebisu. The band's 26th single is described as a dance tune with a catchy melody and hard sounds. They excited their fans by performing this song for the first time during the concert.

FLOW will start the second part of their nationwide tour, "FLOW LIVE TOUR 2013 'Tour THE MAX!!! ~MAX!!! no Mukou Gawa~'", on July 5. The finale will be held on September 7 at Maihama Amphitheater.

D☆DATE’s new single to be provided by FLOW

It was announced that D☆DATE’s new single “GLORY DAYS” will be released on June 12. This will mark their first single after new member Yamagishita Tomo joined the group, and also after they transferred to avex.

For the first single as a “new-born” D☆DATE, the members sent a love call to rock band FLOW as the members stated that they’re big fans. Apparently, all five members visited FLOW’s agency Amuse, and FLOW readily agreed as they saw the passion from the D☆DATE members.

For “GLORY DAYS”, FLOW’s vocalist KOHSHI is in charge of the lyrics, while the guitarist TAKE is in charge of the composition. KOHSHI explained, “I expressed the earnest attitudes and passions of the members who are about to make a fresh start.” TAKE  also said, “The members requested for the song that can liven up at their live, and I believe I was able to meet their expectation. When the five members’ singing voices were added, it became more powerful which was full of the uplifting feelings.”

Regarding the upcoming single, member Seto Koji said, “We will try our best to grab the No.1 on Oricon, and to make our ‘glory days’ to come to us!” Yanagishita also said happily, “I’m happy that it feels like we are finally making a start! The song is very energetic, and the lyrics suits well with five of us who’s making a fresh start.”
