The guitarist of BREAKERZ, AKIHIDE, will be releasing his first live DVD and second book on April 2.
AKIHIDE’s first live DVD “AKIHIDE LIVE 2013 ‘Amber × Lapis Lazuli’” is a work capturing live performances from shows held in promotion of his guitar & vocal album “Amber”, released in 2013, and his acoustic-guitar-centered album “Lapis Lazuli”. The release will feature two DVD’s capturing these two shows. With both shows boasting platinum-ticket statuses, many fans have waited long for such a release. The first trailer video for the release is currently available on the official YouTube Channel, so check it out.
It has also been announced that his second book would be released on the same day as the DVD’s release. The book, named “Life Book”, is a compilation of texts that have been uploaded in his blog “Life” accompanied by illustrations. The theme of the texts is based on things that AKIHIDE feels throughout his daily life. We may be able to get a glimpse of AKIHIDE’s yet-to-be-seen face.
