It has been revealed that w-inds., who completed their 2013 national tour ＜w-inds. LIVE TOUR 2013 “AWAKE”＞ in success, would be releasing a live DVD & Blu-ray of their additional show that took place at Nippon Budokan on January 10. The live DVD & Blu-ray will be released on March 19.
The tour took place after the group released their first single in 20 months, “A Little Bit”, which was released after each member took time off to work on their solo careers. The live concert was named “AWAKE” to resemble the new awakening of the group as each member made leaps of progress through their solo careers. The tour began with the concert at Matsudo Mori no Hall on November 14, 2013. Concerts were held in a total of 13 cities within the country. The will come to a close with concerts at Nippon Budokan on January 10, 2014, and at Hong Kong Asia World Expo: Arena Hall 1 on January 18.
Bonus contents will be included in the live DVD & Blu-ray. The Blu-ray will be released as standard version, but the DVD will be released in two versions: the standard version and the fan club version. The standard versions will come with solo performances that took place at Nippon Budokan, along with a making video for the tour. The fan club version will feature an MC compilation and behind-the-scene footages along with commentaries by the members taken during ＜w-inds. LIVE TOUR 2013 “AWAKE”＞.
The group is scheduled to hold a commemoratory event for the release of their live DVD & Blu-ray. Furthermore, by reserving a copy at the Nippon Bodukan concert on January 10, you will get a chance to win a backstage pass to use on the day.
