Synk;yet announced today that bassist Shiori has to pause band activities due to nodular sclerosis.
According to the official announcement Shiori complained about poor health already back in November. After several checkups in the beginning of December the doctors found out that he suffers from nodular sclerosis in an early stage. Shiori will be hospitalized as of January 27th for about half a month or one month and has to undergo ambulatory treatment after being discharged from hospital for about half a year. They can't tell yet when he will be able to perform again but the members have stated that they will continue with band activities as four-member band while Shiori recovers from his disease.
Shiori said that the type of nodular sclerosis he suffers from is quite rare and that he wants to update his blog every now and then to give courage and hope to those people who're suffering from the same disease.
