SID closed out their tenth anniversary year with a performance entitled "Visual BANG!~SID 10th Anniversary FINAL PARTY~" on December 27 at Nippon Budokan. They performed their new single song "hug," which will be released on February 12, for the first time onstage.
Following the end of the main set, SID announced their 2014 plans to the fans at the venue. First, they revealed the artwork for their new single "hug," which will be released on February 12. The jacket photos for the four versions of the single were projected in one-by-one on a screen in the venue.
SID will also release a new album entitled "OUTSIDER" on March 12. They also announced that they will hold a nationwide tour entitled "SID TOUR 2014 OUTSIDER," beginning on April 9 at Mori no Hall in Matsudo. The tour will consist of a total of twenty-one performances including shows in Taiwan and Hong Kong. These announcements were met with a roar of excited voices from the crowd.
The limited edition of aforementioned single "hug," SID's first single of 2014, will come in four types. Each type features a jacket photo of one of the four members and will include a photo book with pictures of that member. As part of a present campaign geared toward those who buy the single, there is a special advance reservation form enclosed in the CD with which purchasers can order tickets to the tour "SID TOUR 2014 OUTSIDER." As part of this campaign, the band will also raffle off a set of four clear files, designed by each of the members, to 1,000 people. This is a single that SID fans can't miss!
