SCREW has announced that they would be releasing their new single on the day of the band’s 8th anniversary since their formation.
The single will be released on April 23, the band’s birthday, and the title will be “FUGLY”. The name “FUGLY” is a made-up word meaning “extremely ugly”. Byo, who gave the name to the song has left a mysterious comment, “I think it’s a work worthy of starting off 2014. For me, “Ugliness” is…” It would be interesting to find out what SCREW means by “FUGLY” and how the song has turned out.
SCREW will be holding their 8th anniversary commemoration concert at Akasaka BLITZ, on April 20. The road thus far for the band has been nothing but smooth sailing. There have been countless ups and downs in their career. We cannot wait to see what they have in store for us for the commemoratory event. A reservation event for the new song will be held on February 23. Further information on concerts and in-store events will be revealed as they come, so stay tuned.
