It’s been announced that in June of 2014, SCANDAL will be holding three arena live performances at the Yokohama Arena and Osaka-jō Hall.
This announcement was made by vocalist/guitarist HARUNA during the final emcee segment of the December 3 live show at Tokyo International Forum Hall A that was part of a nationwide hall tour of 21 performances, the <SCANDAL HALL TOUR 2013 “STANDARD”> which attracted a total of about 40,000 fans. The 5,000 fans that were present during that announcement were exulted.
It has been SCANDAL’s longstanding goal to perform at Osaka-jō Hall ever since their indies days. In March of 2013, the realization of their first one-man live took place, and their second performance was not far behind. The Yokohama Arena show is to be the biggest venue that the band has played at since formation, with the performance spanning two days. SCANDAL will be the second girl band to ever hold a two-day performance at the venue, the last being PRINCESS PRINCESS approximately 13 years ago.
The Osaka-jō Hall live that will take place on 6/22 is titled, <SCANDAL ARENA LIVE 2014 ”360°”>, while the June 28 - 29 Yokohama Arena two-day performance is titled <SCANDAL ARENA LIVE 2014”FESTIVAL”>. You can kind of get a feel for the contents of each show based on the titles, but it’s anticipated that the stage setups for both east and west shows will completely differ from one another.
