The project "hide ROCKET DIVE 2013" is being held in honor of the twentieth anniversary of the beginning of hide's solo work in 2013 and what would be hide's fiftieth birthday in 2014. This project will close out the year 2013 with the hide official event "hide Birthday Party 2013 feat.CLUB PSYENCE."
At this event on December 8, the artists and audience will celebrate hide's birthday together with a concert (his birthday is December 13). This event has been held yearly since 2000, with the concept of carrying on hide's sound and message.
This year, many artists will appear at the event, such as those who participated in the 2013 hide SPIRITS (cover albums) and old friends from when hide was doing his solo work. Artists that make up both hide's past and his "future" will rush to Kawasaki CLUB CITTA' to perform.
Participating artists include ZEPPET STORE and CUTT, who were members of hide's label "LEMONED," defspiral, who will be performing at the 2014 re-opening of the rock musical "Pink Spider 2014," and newcomers heidi. and calmera. Additionally, hide's old friends PATA (X JAPAN), and Kiyoshi and DIE (hide with Spread Beaver) will perform, along with michiaki (Ra:IN, ex-TENSAW), who was a special performer on hide's first album. kyo and Tetsu from D'ERLANGER, with whom hide participated in a band prior to the formation of X, will also appear.
