Kawakami Yohei the vocalist/guitarist for rock band [Champagne] has just made an announcement on the bands official Facebook page that they will be cancelling two festivals due to injuries caused by a traffic accident on September 7th at 4:00 p.m. by carelessness, which he will explain at a later date and has also been injured himself.
Kawakami apologizes for the considerable inconvience and worry to the fans and their staff. He goes on to say the injuries sustained were mainly brusing and after examinations the brain and bones were not affected but, as a result of the consultation with the doctor it was advised to cancel the festivals, which he is very worried about. Kawakami explains how fortunate that everyone was not injured.
There was no mention of who else was injured in the accident, but we wish all members of Champagne good health and a speedy recovery as we look forward to hearing from them in the near future.
