geek sleep sheep is a three-piece band comprised of vocalist and guitarist Kazuhiro Momo of MO’SOME TONEDBENDER, vocalist and bassist 345 of Ling Tosite Sigure, and drummer Yukihiro of L’Arc~en~Ciel. They will debut this fall, and the release date and title of their debut single has just been announced.
The debut single, titled “Hitsuji,” will be released on October 16.
“Hitsuji,” which geek sleep sheep performed as their last song at “JOIN ALIVE,” is a melancholic mid-tempo song with elements of Shoegaze. At their “one-man live” (concert with no opening act) at SHIBUYA CLUB QUATTRO, the lyrics “I hope your dream is the same as mine” were projected on a screen while 345 and Momo sang them in unison. “Hitsuji,” which is the Japanese word for sheep, is sure to become a very impactful song.
The announcement of geek sleep sheep’s second “one-man live,” called “Confusion Bedroom Vol.2,” coincides with the band’s major debut announcement. Tickets for “Confusion Bedroom Vol.2” go on sale on August 17. This is a great opportunity to see geek sleep sheep who have progressed immensely since their first sold-out “one-man live.”
