Visual key rock unit LM.C has published cover of couple's best album on the official website.
At first glance it may look odd. It seems totally like illustration, but according to the diorama photographer Naoki Honjo, this photo is pure live-action one.
Naoki Honjo said, that shallow photo of pseudo-deep field was made by using the tilt of the large format camera. Naoki Honjo is known for his technique, where real landscape and people look very miniature. He also won The Kimura Ihei Award for his "small planet" in 2006.
Collaboration with Naoki Honjo was realized upon the request of LM.C band members, who has deep knowledge in art. Shibuya that is loved by LM.C members was chosen as shooting point. Taken from a high point, diorama shows the scramble crossing of Shibuya, which became famous all over world. The world of "Shibuya Cantabile", song that is also on couple's best album, has been developed.
Maybe if fans take a closer look at photograph of intersection, they will find similar flag? And if they look even more, they might find someone who looks like Maya - funny game similar to "Find the Wally".
Couple's best album "B-Side BEST!!" will be released on June 5. On this album you will find secret songs of LM.C that were not leaked during their music career: from their debut album "☆Rock the LM.C☆" till their last album "DOUBLE DRAGON".
