Bright colored hair, black enamel costumes and almost painting-like make up reminds us of visual-kei (hair band) artists back in the 90’s. However, Grieva just recently unveiled themselves in July, and filled the venue “Rock May Kan” in Meguro, right up, on August 22nd for their first free gig. They are truly an up and coming band.
Going against the times, on September 9th, they will sell 99 limited edition demo tapes (on actual cassette-tape format!!) of “Taihaiteki Kyousou(decadent burial)”, at venues and on line. They’ll also start to perform with other bands from the same label at label hosting events from September 9th, in the Kanto region.
Moreover, they are going to release their first full album “Oni to Kage (devil and shadow)”! And prior to its release, they’ll do a live performance at “Rock May Kan” in Meguro on February 2nd. You can be the first to get a copy of the new album! So don’t take your eyes off of Grieva, whose existence is creating a stir in the Visual kei scene.
