On September 11th, Amuro Namie released on her official Facebook page the bonus edition music video of “In the Spotlight (TOKYO).”
She is currently celebrating her 20th year since debut and the bonus edition of the music video was released to commemorate the surpassing of 200,000 likes on her Facebook page. The bonus music video is for the song “In The Spotlight (TOKYO)” from her newest album “Uncontrolled” and it was remade to feature Amuro.
Until now, Amuro’s music videos have centered on scenes like a DJ at a club, powerful dances by other dances, neon lights in Tokyo and a “cut-in” scenes that add a cool finish, but this time, Amuro appears in every scene of the bonus edition, breaking her usual music video tendencies. The music video mixes scenes captured from special angles and scenes of Amuro moving and expressing herself. It shows her charm throughout the whole video and is a must see for fans.
In addition, on September 16 (Sunday), Amuro will perform her 20th anniversary live “namie amuro 20th ANNIVERSARY LIVE in OKINAWA” on a special stage at the Ginowan Seaside Park Outdoor Theater. For both Amuro and her fans, this has been an unforgettable year.
