ENDER : Music video for “HOPE” off of debut album, “21g”, is released

The Loud scene in Japan is spreading like wildfire. The Screamo genre from the late 90’s showed a lot of achievements. ENDER is laying the foundation for Screamo in Japan and is getting a lot of attention from overseas. ENDER was formed with former members of the legendary NEW STARTING OVER as the center. The music video for “Hope” is now on viewable on YouTube.

ENDER is comprised of members from veteran bands. DOIGE (vocals) and PEKI (drums) formerly of NEW STARTGIN OVER, TATSUYA (guitar, vocals) formerly of FAITH, and ATSUSHI (bass) formerly of GUN DOG complete this allstar line up. They are a Cinematic post-rock band that uses strings and unique programming to create their deep horror inspired sound.

The camera work and story for the “Hope” music video is inspired by horror movies.

The band members get possessed by a demon and continue to play after their death. That is when a priest enters. The band’s performance starts as the exorcism begins. ENDER continue to play during the exorcism as elements of horror are dropped here and there. The video switches to a woman’s perspective in the middle. The video is of high quality and makes one feel like they are watching a movie.

The end of the video is shown from the woman’s perspective as the words, “Continue to Fake in Every Single Way”, are displayed. “Fake in Every Single Way” is the last song on “21g” and makes us all look forward to its release.
